In mid-70s Los Angeles, as the brief popularity of skateboarding starts to fade, a group of young and defiant surfers use the concrete world around them to reinvent and evolve it to heights never before imagined. In the 25 years since its award-winning debut at Sundance Film Festival debut, former skateboarder Peralta’s film has come to be seen as the definitive skateboarding documentary.
