Satyajit Ray’s 1970 classic follows four Calcutta bachelors as they head for a few days’ holiday to the forests of Bihar. There, they are enamoured by two beautiful women from an elegant country estate. Please join your fellow members in the BFI Reuben library to discuss the themes raised by the film.

Members can book a joint ticket to the Salon and the screening of Days and Nights in the Forest on Tuesday 21 April at 18:10 NFT2 for themselves and their guests in advance for just £8.

Members who watched the film on another date are welcome to come along to the free Salon discussion and show their Membership Card for admission on a first come, first served basis.
