In the sun-soaked French Riviera, 17-year-old Cécile and her playboy father Raymond enjoy a frivolous life of luxury. When an old friend of Raymond’s late wife appears on the scene, Cécile suspects her carefree ways are under threat and takes matters into her own hands – with tragic results. Made two years before Seberg appeared in Jean-Luc Godard’s Breathless, here she exudes the charm and charisma that made her such a star.
