BFI Reuben Library events
The BFI Reuben Library hosts a range of events throughout the year.
We love reading about all kinds of moving image in the library, and we also love talking and hearing about it too. Our year round events programme features a range of speakers, talks, and panel discussions, covering all manner of topics from Artists’ Moving Image to Women Screenwriters. With the opportunity to share your thoughts and questions at each event, why not expand your filmic horizons and drop by the BFI Reuben Library sometime.
Many previous events have been presented in partnership with LUX, Sight & Sound, and supported by the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.
The library seats 50 people and many of our events sell out. We advise you to book early to avoid disappointment.
Only bottled water is allowed during events. All other food and drink must be consumed before entering the library.
In the BFI Reuben Library at BFI Southbank you can access a huge collection of books, journals and digitised material about the world of film, television and the moving image. Find out more about the BFI Reuben Library.
BFI Southbank will be closed Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 June due to a private event. BFI Riverfront will be closed on 9 July until 5pm. It will re-open in the evening.
