Former triad gangster Ho is offered early parole in exchange for spying on his old mentor. He takes the deal when he learns that his cop sibling is also working the case. Woo’s sequel intensifies the action, adding more impressively choreographed shoot-outs and showdowns, spilling out across multiple sets, which foreshadow the ambition and scale of future films The Killer and Hard Boiled.
Contains graphic violence.
