Coffin Joe, an atheist undertaker obsessed with immortality, terrorises a small town in search of the perfect heir. Marins blends gothic imagery, shock effects and dark humour to create Brazil’s most iconic horror figure. The result was a transgressive cult phenomenon that defied censorship and launched a unique genre.
