After he is forced into retirement, John returns to his former workplace disguised as the president of the parent company, hoping to rescind its retirement policy. Monroe is Harriet, a witty secretary caught up in the antics. Monroe played several secretaries early in her career, but this turn stands out thanks to her cheeky attitude and a knock-out wardrobe. She was clearly an actor ascending to stardom.
