Asexuality has long been considered the invisible orientation, yet asexual people have been talking about their identities on screen for over 20 years. Many of these representations, however, had previously been lost from public access and asexual histories, continuing this invisibility of asexuality.

To celebrate the launch of the new BFI Mediatheque collection Asexuality on Screen, which traces 20 years of British asexual screen histories, PhD researcher and collection curator Rebecca Humphreys-Lamford (they/them) invites you to join this workshop to preview the new collection and join group discussions and activities about how we archive asexuality.

The presentation element of this event will be live captioned.
