This poignant and heart-warming coming-of-age drama, the debut feature by the award-winning director of the documentary Captains of Zaatari, tells the story of Ashish, a reclusive young man set on meeting his idol, Lionel Messi, at the World Cup in Qatar. Lying to his family, he embarks on a journey that leads him from the peaceful and sheltered bubble of his rural Kerala home to a job as a stadium worker, along the way learning about himself and the world around him.
