Conceived by acclaimed British creative technologist Antonia Forster, along with Thomas Terkildsen, this immersive project is the world’s first virtual reality museum. Containing 3D scans of personal artifacts (ranging from a pair of wedding shoes to a teddy bear) chosen by people in the LGBTQ+ community and accompanied by stories told in their own words, the museum is dedicated to the preservation of personal queer histories. Since premiering at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, this work has been presented all over the world, and we are thrilled to bring it to BFI Flare.
