Introduction

John Schlesinger pioneered mainstream queer cinema with Oscar® and BAFTA-winning films such as Darling (1965), Midnight Cowboy (1969) and Sunday Bloody Sunday (1971), portraying complex queer lives and relationships. A hundred years since his birth, Marc David Jacobs revisits the highs and lows of Schlesinger’s career in this joyful, irreverent and illustrated talk.

This event is free and open to all (subject to age restrictions).

Ticket booking opens on Thursday 12 March at 12pm midday.
